Beach Recap

Me and my girl. At the beach. Where it was cool and breezy. And not so hot that I want to cry. I wore my hat faithfully because I have an appointment with the dermatologist tomorrow, and I didn't want him to have to stare at sunburned skin along with adult acne and previous sun damage. WHY OH WHY didn't I believe in sunscreen or sunglasses in my high school years?

We went to the beach twice while in CA, and I was a little nervous to take Dirty Job there. I didn't want him to be overstimulated, nor did I want him to be disobedient while we were there. A giant ocean isn't exactly the place where I want Dirty Jobs to challenge authority. Or more likely, not be able to process instructions.

All my fears were quickly put to rest. We had such a fantastic time! The beach was like a giant therapy room for my boy. He was able to follow directions and he demonstrated a healthy fear of the water. He enjoyed building sand molds and playing with his sister. I'm feeling pretty certain that we should live at the beach for Dirty Job's sake...I'm pretty sure that's a covered therapy cost...a girl can dream...
I just love the beach. And going with these 2 makes it all the more fun.

I miss the California sun sometimes! Not so sure I miss cleaning sand out of hidden areas after a day at the beach, but I miss having the luxury to GO to one if I want! Looks like you had a great time :)

10 Things did the same for me. I cried through so much of it because it made so much sense and I should have KNOWN (or so I told myself). This is a book I wish I could require everyone that works with Zack to read ahead of time!!
